Samsung Galaxy S20+ vs Realme X50 Pro - Unbelievable results!!🔥🔥😯😯

The race of Flagships has started this year again and lot of buyers are confused between several smartphones, But what makes Samsung's Flagship different from other Flagships by Chinese brands? Should we spend this much in Samsung's Flagship India if we are getting the same specifications cheaper? So, in this blog I will explain,  show the differences and give my verdict that you should spend extra or not.
Samsung has launched its Flagship this month i.e. S20 series which starts from ₹73,999/- whereas Realme also launched its 5G Flagship few days back Pricing ₹37,999/- . This comparison is divided by me in Six categories i.e.
  • Performance,
  • Camera,
  • Battery & Charging,
  • Display,
  • Connectivity,
  • Software etc.
and I will be giving them the winning points in every category +1 for 1 win and 0 for loosing.
So, lets start.

Performance

Samsung has launched its Flagships with latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor but real question arises when they launched this in India with their own Exynos processor which is kind of less powerful processor as compared with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Samsung has launched S20+ in India with Exynos 990 SoC whereas Realme launched its 5G Flagship with latest and most powerful Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 SoC.
At AnTuTu scores the S20+ achieved the score of  515.098 whereas the Realme X50 pro scored 874.865 because Exynos 990 is clocked at 2.7GHz and Snapdragon 665 is clocked at 2.84GHz. The GPU here is ARM Mali G77 and Adreno 650 in which the Qualcomm's Adreno 650 comes out to be powerful in benchmarks. Both the smartphones are powered by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and Samsung's UFS 3.0 Flash Storage but fails to perform the same.
In the performance area, Realme goes a way ahead from the Samsung's Flagship.

Both the smartphones are equipped with Quad camera setup at the back and Realme X50 Pro has the dual punch hole camera at the front, whereas Samsung galaxy S20+ has the single punch hole camera.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ has -
1. Standard lens of 12MP Sony IMX555 CMOS sensor with f/ 1.8 aperture,
2. Telephoto lens of 64MP Samsung bright S5KGW2 ISOCELL sensor with f/ 2.0 aperture,

4. ToF 3D camera of 0.5MP Sony IMX516 CMOS sensor
The front camera is of 10MP Sony IMX375 CMOS sensor with f/ 2.2 aperture
This phone is having OIS and can shoot 8K videos upto 30fps and slo-mo at 960fps from the back camera including 30x digital zoom and front camera can shoot 4K at 60fps and can capture 120 Degree wide angle shot.

Realme X50 Pro 5G has -
1. Standard lens of 64MP Samsung S5KGW1 ISOCELL sensor wth f/ 1.8 aperture
2. Telephoto lens of 12MP Samsung S5K3M5 ISOCELL sensor with f/ 2.5 aperture,
3. Wide Angle+Macro lens of 8MP SKhynix/Hi846 CMOS sensor with f/ 2.3 aperture. and

The front camera is of 32MP Sony IMX616 CMOS sensor with f/ 2.45 aperture, and Wide Angle lens of 8MP GALAXYCORE GC8054 CMOS sensor with f/ 2,2 aperture.
This phone lacks OIS but has EIS and UIS technology which can stabilize the video very well and can shoot 4K at 30fps and slo-mo at 960fps from the back camera including 20x Hybrid zoom and front camera can shoot 1080p at 30fps and can capture 108 Degree wide angle shot.
In the department of camera, Samsung is a way ahead of the Realme's device and has much better camera with better hardware features and better software optimizations. Hence, Samsung leads this part.

Battery & Charging

Samsung S20+ has 4500mAh of Li-Polymer battery that supports fast charging of 25W which take around 90 mins for 0-100% full charge. It also has the reverse wireless charging technology of upto 9W and the phone also supports fast wireless charging 2.0 of 15W.

Realme X50 Pro has 4200 mAh of Li-ion Battery that supports SuperDART charging of 65W which takes just 34 mins for 0-100 full charge Wow!!. But, It lacks wireless charging capabilities.

In terms of battery and charging, X50 Pro is amazingly fast as lightening which leaves the S20+ very far away and you are getting this gadget in 50% less price then wireless charging capabilities can be neglected.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy S20+ has 6.7"   WQHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with the resolution of 1440 x 3200 px and 525 ppi. The display is having 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certified, punch-hole display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Here, Samsung Galaxy S20+ is the clear-cut winner as we all know that no one can beat Samsung in terms of Display but Realme is also not bad according to its price range.

Realme - 0, Samsung - +1

Connectivity

Samsung Galaxy S20+ has the 4G LTE connectivity enabled with dual 4G Sim Standby with upto 1TB expandable storage but lacks 5G . For better Wi-Fi connectivity WiFi 6 (802.11ax) band and for better Bluetooth connection Bluetooth 5.0 is used.

Realme X50 Pro has the 5G modem that also supports better 4G connectivity with dual 5G Sim Standby with no expandable storage. For better Wi-Fi connectivity WiFi 6 (802.11ax) band and for better Bluetooth connection Bluetooth 5.0 is used. For better navigation NAVIC ( Navigation system made by ISRO) is used, which makes this device to be the first in the World to use NAVIC .

In terms of connectivity, the cheaper Flagship Realme X50 Pro has many more options than the actual Flagship Samsung Galaxy S20+.

Realme - +1, Samsung - 0

Software

Hmmm.... this one's confusing because though both the Brand's OS is not much popular but both of these runs on latest Android 10 and the names are One UI 2.0 and Realme UI.
One UI has been made stable because it is introduced much before, but it does not offers many customizations that Realme UI offers. But Realme's OS is running in BETA stage which has many bugs and is not stable, since it has many more options to offer than One UI 2.0 so i'll give Realme a thumbs up and it will be the winner as of now.

Realme - +1, Samsung - 0

Now let's count the points of both the Flagship phones and check who's the winner.

                                                   -------------------------------------------

**This comparison is been done in terms of price and features both, but Samsung's camera is at the next level and also its Display is the best as of now but other features like the performance is decreased in India. Though it is a good device but its price is very much high whereas Realme X50 Pro is having a way better price.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ won in two categories i.e. Camera and Display whereas in all the other categories Realme X50 Pro is the Winner.
